An advocate of continuous learning, Vineet holds an MBA in Sustainability Management from Symbiosis Pune and postgraduate diplomas in Environmental Law and Operations Management. He has completed executive strategy courses at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. As an IGBC Accredited Professional and a Certified Social Auditor from NISM, he possesses robust expertise in sustainability, governance, and compliance. Vineet’s expertise spans sustainability strategy and governance, decarbonization, supply chain sustainability, ESG reporting, disclosure &ratings. He has worked with global standards such as GRI, CDP, DJSI, EcoVadis, BRSR and eco-labels, helping organizations achieve ambitious milestones like becoming plastic neutral. His consulting experience covers a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, finance (banks, NBFCs, asset management companies, and insurance firms), automobile, e-commerce, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, renewable energy, and others. He has also played a pivotal role in developing two business verticals within startups, reflecting his entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability. With significant experience in team leadership, business development, training, and client management, Vineet has consistently delivered impactful results throughout his career. Vineet is currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (ESG) at Kalpataru Projects International Limited, where he is responsible for implementing sustainability initiatives and driving integration of ESG principles into business operations. He has previously led sustainability initiatives& functions for at Infosys, Uniqus (formerly Goodera), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Voltas, API Holdings (parent company of PharmEasy, Thyrocare, and group companies), and PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited (PwC).His work demonstrates a commitment to integrating sustainability into business strategy, helping organizations navigate the evolving ESG landscape effectively.
