Sh. Ranjith P.C. joined CCS NIAM on November 28, 2022. He is an alumnus of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, and Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. Before joining CCS NIAM, he gained valuable experience working with Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) institutions and the Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA)-CIMMYT (International Centre for Maize and Wheat Improvement).

With over seven years of professional expertise, Sh. Ranjith has made significant contributions in diverse agricultural domains, including research and policy formulation, agricultural extension, marketing, agri-business management, climate change adaptation, climate-resilient agriculture (CRA), project monitoring and evaluation (PM&E), and ecosystem services. Notably, he conducted the mid-term evaluation of a ₹300 crore Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project in Bihar.

He has demonstrated excellence in project management, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building. His expertise extends to conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys, developing methodologies and quick estimates, formulating research themes and project proposals, managing network projects, consulting, technology commercialization, and startup incubation.

At CCS NIAM, Sh. Ranjith is actively involved in training, research, consultancy, and educational initiatives. He has successfully organized over 40 training and capacity-building programs on various aspects of agricultural marketing nationwide. He has also led consultancy training programs valued at approximately ₹3 million for esteemed organizations such as Coromandel, Lupin Foundation, Uttar Pradesh Dairy Federation, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) under the World Bank-funded SMART Project.

An accredited Master Trainer, certified by the Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare's 10k FPO scheme. He has authored 15 research papers, a book chapter, and a training manual on agriculture and allied sectors. Further, he has authored over 13 editorial articles to leading national newspapers, including The Hindu, Economic Times, and Financial Express.
